Harvesting and   Collection:

Dwarf   Lilyturf Tuber are collected in summer.

Functions:

Usage and Dosage:

10-15g   for decoction.

Precaution:

Contraindicated   for those with diarrhea due to deficiency-cold of spleen and stomach,   damp-phlegm in the stomach and cough due to affection of wind-cold.

Activating ingredients:  

It   contains ophiopogon japonicus saponins A, B, C, D, aglycone are pseudo-leaves   sapogenin, and the other containing Ophiopogon japonicus saponins B ', C', D   ', aglycone are diosgenin; still contain a variety of flavonoids : Such as   Ophiopogon methyl flavone A, B, Ophiopogon flavonoids A, Ophiopogon flavonoids   A, B, methyl Ophiopogon flavonoids A, B; the other was divided into five high   isoflavone compounds.
